This Privacy Policy explains how DomainIQ AI ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use our website and services.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address, optional mobile number, hashed password (via our auth provider).
  • Usage data: domains you analyze, credit ledger entries, timestamps, IP address, and browser user agent.
  • Payment data: Razorpay order/payment identifiers. We do not store card numbers or CVVs; those are handled directly by Razorpay.
  • Preview cookie: a signed cookie tracks the single anonymous preview to prevent abuse.

2. How We Use Data

  • To provide domain intelligence reports and maintain your credit balance.
  • To process payments and issue receipts.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To send transactional email (account verification, receipts). We do not send marketing without your consent.

3. Third-Party Processors

  • Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. — payment processing.
  • Lovable Cloud — authentication, database, and secure account infrastructure.
  • AI providers — anonymized domain metadata is sent to our AI gateway to generate reports. We do not send your email or account identifiers.

4. Data Retention

Account and analysis history is retained while your account is active. On deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax/GST records for 8 years).

5. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from the Account page or by emailing us via the contact page. If you are in the EU/UK you have rights under GDPR; if you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and preview tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Row-level security policies restrict database access to the authenticated owner of each record.
